Kittsen McCumber, DVM
Dr. McCumber graduated from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1990. She started her veterinary career in a mixed animal practice dealing with horses, cows, cats, and dogs. She has also owned a house call veterinary practice and did relief work covering emergencies. She worked at an excellent emergency animal practice as a veterinarian. She relocated to Toledo, Ohio in 2001 and has since become the owner of the Animal Emergency and Critical Care Center of Toledo, Inc.
Dr. McCumber has 1 dog, 2 cats, and plans for fish on her farmette. Dr. McCumber has two grown children and a son-in-law. Her daughter is married and practices law in Chicago, her son-in-law is the superintendent of a golf course, and her son is a Sergeantl in the United States Marine Corps. Her daughter and son-in-law celebrated the arrival of Dr. McCumber's first grandchild, Matthew Robert, in 2008.

That's all that emergency medicine is, saving sick animals; we rarely see a healthy pet. There is also such a wide variety of cases that are seen.
