Freedom Pups
On July 5 2007, a good samaritan brought in a litter of pups that she had found in an alley next to her house. Animal Emergency asked for some volunteers to help foster the pups. Below are some images that we were been able to catch while the pups were in our care.

7/9/07 Update
Several of the pups have been adopted out and are doing very well. Below are some more recent photos and you can see how much they have grown in less then a week. They are now averaging 0.8 lbs. The pups are still being fed every 2 hours, but this will be changing in the next week or so as their stomachs are getting bigger and can hold more food.

Recently two of the freedom puppies that were adopted out spent the day in the clinic visiting each other and the staff. They have started to open their eyes and weigh close to 2 pounds. Bottle feedings are not having to happen as often as their stomachs are able to hold more of the formula at once. Below are pictures from this visit. Enjoy!

The pups are now around 6 pounds each and eating dry puppy food. Vaccine protocols will begin shortly. The two pups shown in these photos are the same pups in the above photos. We see these two rather frequently due to the fact that they have been adopted by staff and close friends. Any pictures sent to us by the owners of the other pups will also be posted with permission. The brown pup in the photos is Max, the brindle pup is Snap.
