Barbara Buford, DVM
Dr. Barbara Buford has been a full time associate with Animal Emergency and Critical Care Center of Toledo, Inc. since November 2001. Prior to that time she practiced full time with a local veterinarian for six years. Dr. Buford graduated from the University of Findlay and The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is currently an adjunct faculty member at the University of Findlay teaching undergraduate Zoology. She is also the executive director of Canine Emergency Medicine Training for the Ohio Tactical Medical Association, training officers with canine partners as well as EMTs on how to respond to canine officers down in the field.
Dr. Buford has two wonderful children, a son and a duaghter. The Buford family has one 15 year old cat named Doc and three golden retrievers: Jasper, Kelsey, and Charlie.
