Bird Tips

• For birds, exposure to Teflon in self-cleaning ovens may be as dangerous or more dangerous than exposure to Teflon cooking pans.

• Be sure to keep your bird away from drafts. If you have a small bird, such as parakeets, finches, etc., and you have your thermostat set to 68 degrees or below, talk to your regular veterinarian for tips on keeping your feathered friend warm. A cold bird can quickly become a sick bird.
